Karl Kamakahi is the founder of the De La Creme vision and has been Djing since 1989. From Pearl City Hawaii, Karl was taught by legendary Hawaiian DJ "James Coles". He began experimenting with freestyle, transitioned into techno, and eventually felt the most at home with house music by 1992. Karl has lived and played all over the mid-west in places like Minneapolis, Denver, Fargo, Rapid City, Madison, St. Paul, and Bismarck. In Seattle, he has played at numerous venues such as REBAR, The Last Supper Club, Crimson, Heavens, Trinity, Merchants Cafe, Docs Underground, See Sound Lounge, EMP, Chapel and Noir in Portland.
